Freedom of Information

This page tells you how to request information from the AHRC under the Freedom of Information Act. It also explains our publication scheme.

How to request information

Please write to us describing the information you would like and provide us with a contact name and correspondence address (an email address is sufficient). You can write to us at the following address:

Information Services Manager
Arts and Humanities Research Council
Polaris House
North Star Avenue
Swindon SN2 1FL

Alternatively you can email your request to: foi@ahrc.ac.uk

Under the Freedom of Information Act, we have a duty to respond to your request and to provide the information, unless it is subject to one of the exemptions (opens in a new window), within twenty working days.

Reviews and complaints

If you are not satisfied with the response you may seek a review by writing to:

Secretariat Manager
Arts and Humanities Research Council
Polaris House
North Star Avenue
Swindon SN2 1FL

Alternatively you can request a review via email: c.sparke@ahrc.ac.uk

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your review, you may apply to the Information Commissioner (opens in a new window), who enforces and oversees the Freedom of Information Act.
