Research in the Creative Economy

Browse funded research More...

Each year the AHRC funds about 700 new research awards and 1,100 postgraduate awards, which total more than £90m.

The arts and humanities play a vital role in the well-being of our economy. With few major corporations or multinational companies supporting research in this area, the funding the AHRC provides is essential if we are, as a nation, to develop our understanding of these creative industries and their significance in today's society.
