Submission Rates

The submission rate survey looks at the rate of submission of doctoral students who have held AHRC Postgraduate awards. Find out how we are working with institutions to improve these submission rates.

The results of the 2009 doctoral submission rate survey show an overall submission rate of 83% for students holding AHRC doctoral studentships who were due to submit their thesis during the 3 year period between 1 October 2006 and 30 September 2009. A total of 1857 doctoral award holders at 94 institutions were included in the survey to the 3 year survey period ending 30 September 2009.
