Centres for Doctoral Training

AHRC will be funding a number of Centres for Doctoral Training (CDTs) in order to complement the Doctoral Training Partnerships scheme, and provide further capacity for postgraduate funding in priority areas: Design, Modern Languages and Heritage.  CDT awards are block grants made to consortia of Research Organisations (ROs), over a period of five cohorts, to support PhD studentships in specific areas.

The studentship places will be advertised by the CDT on an annual basis, and studentship will be awarded on open competition.  AHRC plays no part in the assessment and selection of students.  If you are a student, you need to contact the CDT directly to find out about their selection process.

List of contacts for all DTP and CDT consortia (Excel 29KB, opens in new window). This is intended to help consortia members in their networking and communications. Please note that this is not a comprehensive list of all partners involved in the consortia.

Any amendments to the list should be emailed to Jenny Gordon j.gordon@ahrc.ac.uk.
