The 2011 Annual UKRO Conference will take place at the Newcastle Civic Centre on 07-08 July 2011.
Each year the UK Research Office (UKRO) organises a two-day Annual Conference aimed predominantly at European Liaison Officers, European research managers, Research Councils and policy makers. The conference provides an excellent forum for discussion and networking with key speakers from the European Commission on a range of EU policies and funding opportunities. Sessions this year include the future of the European Research Funding and on the role of Socio-Economic Sciences and the Humanities.
The UKRO 2011 Annual Conference will take place at Newcastle Civic Centre on 7 and 8 July 2011. There will be a conference dinner on the evening of 7 July.
The conference will be an ideal opportunity to find out more about a range of European funding programmes and implementation issues, and to hear presentations from representatives of the European Commission and other international organisations. With almost 200 delegates attending previous UKRO Annual Conferences, it will also be an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues from other organisations, both from the UK and overseas.
