Begins 25th October
The Inside Out Festival, curated by LCACE ( London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange) and supported by the AHRC returns from October 25 to 30 following a hugely successful inaugural Festival in 2009 with an even bigger and better programme of talks, debates, exhibitions and performances, in Universities and major cultural instutions in London.
The Festival celebrates the exciting and often unexpected contribution made by London universities to the cultural life of the capital. This year festival-goers will be able to hear from some of the most inspiring and experimental thinkers, writers and artists of the day and get creative themselves.
Speakers include : Rt Hon David Willetts MP, Minister for Universities and Science, in the Festival opening debate ‘Should the University survive in its current form?? With Professors Rick Rylance, Geoffrey Crossick and A.C. Grayling, Chaired by Ann McElvoy.
Others appearing during the week include : Sir Colin Davis, Peter Hennessy, Kate Adie and Blake Morrison
