The aim of this event is to try and get beneath the surface of current debates concerning the role and contribution of religion to public policy, civil society and political and economic life in the UK. It will be interactive and will seek to attract a wide range so participants from different backgrounds and experiences. It is hoped that the conference will generate new perspectives and agendas on religion and social/welfare policy arising out of the contributions and discussions. The event will generate a range of web-based dissemination and discussion including a pod cast and on-line report. Maps and parking plans will be sent to those registering for the conference.
