11th May at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre in London

This one-day workshop is hosted by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), in association with the Institute for Knowledge Transfer (IKT) and the Association for University Research and Industry Links (AURIL). The focus for the day is raising awareness and identifying the potential for KT in the arts and humanities, and the event is intended to be a two-way process, with information exchange taking place between the AHRC and KT practitioners from a range of institutions.

The aims of the day are to:
• Increase KT practitioners’ awareness of the potential for KT in arts and humanities subjects
• Inform the AHRC, and IKT and AURIL, of current issues faced by KT practitioners in engaging arts and humanities researchers
• Increase knowledge and understanding of the AHRC’s bespoke KT funding opportunities
• Support KT practitioners in helping their colleagues prepare successful KT proposals
