The Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft of the Federal Republic of Germany (DFG) are pleased to announce the second call under their bilateral agreement to facilitate collaborations between arts and humanities researchers in the UK and Germany.

The total combined budget for this call is £2M/2.6M Euros.

This agreement will cover specifically those arts and humanities fields which are common to both AHRC and DFG. The Collaborative Research Proposals have a maximum duration of 3 years and must involve an eligible researcher based at an eligible organisation in both countries.

Collaborative research proposals should be submitted only to DFG under this call. The deadline for the submission of applications is 30 November 2009.
