From 12th May - Discover Culture with Darwin Exhibition

Come and discover how Darwin's ideas can shed light on the story of cultural diversity. This exhibition is a unique look at the implications of Darwin's ideas in relation to how we understand cultural development and diversity. It aims to show that evolutionary processes, similar to those at work in nature, are at work in our cultural lives too, shaping our traditions and practices. The exhibition is supported by the AHRC Centre for the Evolution of Cultural Diversity http://www.cecd.ucl.ac.uk/home/

The AHRC CECD is a Phase Two AHRC Research Centre (2006-2010), building on the earlier work of the AHRB Centre for the Evolutionary Analysis of Cultural Behaviour.
