Argentium Project: New Avenues for Silver Design', is part of the Brilliantly Birmingham Festival at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

The exhibition presents the outcomes of an AHRC funded research project (2008-9) exploring the combined use of the new silver alloy Argentium Silver and laser welding, and new opportunities arising from this for silver design.

This project was a collaboration between Dr Kristina Niedderer, University of Wolverhampton, and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

The Private View is on 20th November, from 6:30 pm, at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
The Exhibition is on from: 22 September 2009 - 21 February 2010
