Complaints and Appeals, Fraud, Whistle-Blowing, Risk Management
In addition to its Freedom of Information and Data Protection policies, the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) has a number of corporate policies which members should familiarise themselves with.
These include the Complaints and Appeals Policy; Equality and Diversity Policy; the Anti-Fraud Policy and Fraud Response Plan which outline the process for preventing, identifying, investigating and acting upon incidence of fraud; and the Whistle-Blowing Policy which provides a mechanism to challenge inappropriate behaviour and a route to report and act upon genuine concerns about malpractice, illegal, acts or failures to comply with recognised standards of work without fear of reprisal or victimisation.
These policies also apply to members who wish to raise cases of potential fraud or inappropriate practice. The Risk Management Framework sets out the AHRC's top-level risks and responsibilities for identifying and managing risk within the AHRC.
