Delivery Plan 2015 - 2016
The Arts and Humanities Research Council has published its Delivery Plan 2015-2016 (PDF, 4.7MB), which provides a high-level overview of our plan for the period. It sets out our principles, priorities and outlines the approaches to achieve this plan. Our key objectives for 2015-16 follow from the central element of our mission as set out in The Human World: AHRC Strategy 2013-18 (PDF, 3.6MB). The planning for 2015-16 follows from strengths established in our Delivery Plan 2011-15 (PDF, 2.3MB).
2015-16 will see the tenth anniversary of AHRC's establishment as a research council, and we use the opportunity to celebrate achievements and further communicate the value and impact of the work we fund.
Alongside the individual delivery plans, a new Research Councils UK (RCUK) strategic vision is being published to set out how the Councils will work together to provide a vital contribution to economic growth and wellbeing within the UK.

Notes to editors
- The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funds world-class, independent researchers in a wide range of subjects: ancient history, modern dance, archaeology, digital content, philosophy, English literature, design, the creative and performing arts, and much more. This financial year the AHRC will spend approximately £98m to fund research and postgraduate training in collaboration with a number of partners. The quality and range of research supported by this investment of public funds not only provides social and cultural benefits but also contributes to the economic success of the UK. www.ahrc.ac.uk
